Congress Ave Bats

This is another set of older photos. I just couldn't decide how to do them and couldn't find any embellishments that I loved. I love the way it turned out. Sometimes waiting a long time is a good thing.
Details: Background paper is by Martha Stewart Crafts (thanks Noey!). The bridge was cut out using SCAL and Inkscape. I took an actual photo of the Congress Ave bridge and turned it into a Cricut cut file. The bats are also something I created and cut with Sure Cuts A Lot. The title was cut using the Lyrical Letters Cricut Cartridge.

Wildflowers Galore

These photos are from a long time ago. Two years ago to be exact. I just haven't been excited about scrapping them and haven't found papers that would go with the flowers. I love the way it turned out though. Slowly but surely I am getting my older stack of photos scrapped.
Details: All patterned paper is from the DCWV Green Stack. The blue paper is blue oasis by Bazzill. The brads are by Bo Bunny. The cute little frog is by Doodle Bug. The title was cut out using the Lyrical Letters Cricut Cartridge.

Mrs. P

These are photos from my trash the dress session with Life in Motion Photography. I had forgotten how much I loved my dress until I put it back on again. I love these photos of me...I never love photos of me. :)

Details: The paper and ribbons are from SEI's Poppy line. The title was written using American Crafts' Thickers (sorry for smudging out my name, can't have you all knowing everything ;))
The third and fifth photos were taken by the lovely MC!

My Birthday

I have struggled with this layout for nearly a year. I could never find the paper that went with the photos. Finally I found a paper that would work.
Details: Lace paper is by Sandy Lion. Blue paper is by TPC Studios, Time to Travel Map. Orange paper is Rio de Janero by Bazzill. Cupcakes are by Jolee's. Journaling block is by K & Co. The title was cut out using the Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge.

Christmas reunion

This past Christmas I was able to finally meet up with my friend, Linz. Our paths hadn't crossed in over two years! It was great for us all to be together again and to finally meet G and the adorable Homer.
Details: The green paper is by Bazzill in Parakeet. The ornament paper is by Reminisce. The ribbon, snowflakes, and journaling square are all from SEI's Glitzmas line. Christmas was written using Making Memories glitter letters.

Big Fern Springs

While on vacation in California, we went to the Sequoia National Forest. Big Fern Springs was one of the stops in the park. It was absolutely beautiful.
Details: One amazing 12 x 12 photo on the left page :) The background paper on the right page is from SEI's En Route line. The title was cut using brown paper by Bazzill and the Lyrical Letters cartridge on the Cricut.

Secret Lives of Seahorses

While on vacation in California, we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. They had just opened a special exhibit on seahorses. I love seahorses! There were more species of seahorses then in any other place before. They had all stages in the life cycle of a seahorse to view. It was AMAZING!
Details: The background paper is from Heidi Grace's Beyond the Sea line. The title was cut out using the Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge.

Adventures in Friendship

While I was visiting my friend Noey, we did a lot of fun things around Northern California. So many that I didn't think I could do a layout for each adventure. I decided to make a collage layout of some of the things we did.
Details: The birds and rub ons are by My Mind's Eye. The patterned papers are also by My Mind's Eye. The grey paper is Elephant by Bazzill. The glitter letters are from Making Memories' Paperie line. All of the photos are either 2 x 2 inches or 2 x 4 inches.

I won!

I won a random drawing over on the Hero Arts blog. Today my prizes arrived via UPS. I was so excited to open it because they didn't tell me what I one. Here are all the goodies:

This will be a fun spring or summery stamp to use on a layout!
Gems are always fun to use.
Love the tree, but question the cupcakes. Not sure when or for what I will use this for.
Letters! Love Hero Arts letters, one of the few sets I don't have. :)
Stationery. Perfect for spring cards.
