Pensacola Beach

I'm taking a break from trying to finish up 2010 and decided to scrap a few layouts from our beach hopping in September of 2012. The first stop on our hop was Pensacola, FL.

Details: The patterned paper (which I have been hoarding since 2010) is from SEI's On The Coast line. I'm actually thinking of buying more... The solid paper is Surf by American Crafts. The heart and "so much fun" are from the Sand & Surf collection by Bella Blvd. The other word stickers are by My Mind's Eye.

Magic Carpet Golf

Last year, during our anniversary trip to Galveston, we played a round of miniature golf. You can see from the two pictures of us that we got very burnt while waiting for the slow pokes ahead of us to play.

Details: Orange paper and green strip are Salmon Cove from the American Crafts Campy Trails line. I'll have to look and see if I still have the paper strip from the dot paper...

Zilker

I think this was technically New Year's Day, but I have it listed in my stack of 2009 to finish. We went to Zilker Botanical Gardens so that my sister and brother in-law could soak up some more sunshine before heading back to the cold north :)

Details: Brown paper is Cocoa by Bazzill. Black paper is also by Bazzill, I cut the edges using a deckle blade. "Zilker" is written using Thickers by American Crafts in Vera. Tree is by My Mind's Eye.

Date Day

Yesterday I spent some good old fashioned quality time with my husband. We tried out a hot dog trailer for lunch, played games and took our picture at Main Event, and hung out together at Barnes & Noble sipping on Starbucks. Ahh...the good ol' days of dating. It was great to get back to our roots. :)

P.S. This is my new favorite layout :)

Details: Paper is the A & B side of Forever with You Delightful Diamond paper from the So Sophie Collection by My Mind's Eye. The Title block is also from this collection. Ribbon is by American Crafts. Journaling block is from the Fly a Kite line by October Afternoon. Vintage photo strip cover is by K&Company.

Pumpkin Carving

We had a great time carving pumpkins this year. The weather was beautiful. I married a 13 year old boy, he is snickering because his pumpkin looks like a butt :P

Crane Hill Beach

When we were visiting family in Ipswich we went to the Crane Hill beach. The sand was soft and we hiked on some of the sand dune trails. The water was freezing though and we didn't spend much time in it.
Details: Paper is Pina Colada Popsicle by BoBunny. The title is by Basic Grey. The fish embellishments are by Jollee's.

Congress Ave Bats

This is another set of older photos. I just couldn't decide how to do them and couldn't find any embellishments that I loved. I love the way it turned out. Sometimes waiting a long time is a good thing.
Details: Background paper is by Martha Stewart Crafts (thanks Noey!). The bridge was cut out using SCAL and Inkscape. I took an actual photo of the Congress Ave bridge and turned it into a Cricut cut file. The bats are also something I created and cut with Sure Cuts A Lot. The title was cut using the Lyrical Letters Cricut Cartridge.

Wildflowers Galore

These photos are from a long time ago. Two years ago to be exact. I just haven't been excited about scrapping them and haven't found papers that would go with the flowers. I love the way it turned out though. Slowly but surely I am getting my older stack of photos scrapped.
Details: All patterned paper is from the DCWV Green Stack. The blue paper is blue oasis by Bazzill. The brads are by Bo Bunny. The cute little frog is by Doodle Bug. The title was cut out using the Lyrical Letters Cricut Cartridge.
