Valentine for Hubby

Here is the card I made for my husband for Valentine's Day. We exchange homemade cards every year and then go out the day after to buy discount candy. It is a fun tradition!
Details: The papers are left over bits from the paper I used on this layout and is by Reminisce. The love looking glass is by Making Memories. The velvet hearts I think are from Jolee's and are leftover from something long ago.

Welcome Nora

I have yet to meet my niece, but my husband and I made her birth announcements! They are really similar to the announcements we made for her brother two years ago. So I decided to make the layout for Nora's announcement similar to the one I made for Max. Here they are side by side:

Details: The pattern paper is Just the Girls from the Lucky Me collection by My Mind's Eye. The felt buttons are from Making Memories' Animal Cracker line. The title was cut out on the Cricut using the Zooballoo cartridge.

Walking in the Snow

When we went back to Illinois, to visit family for the Holidays, it snowed our very first night there. We decided to get up early the next morning, when the snow is still undisturbed, and go for a walk. These are some of the pictures we took while on our walk.
Details: The background paper is Flurry Kisses from SEI's Winter Song line. The embellishments are also from SEI's Winter Song line. The Snow was written in glitter letters by Making Memories.

Pedernales Falls

We hiked around during Thanksgiving on a beautiful day. I really love the picture of the dead tree. It captures the Texas sky so well.

Details: The papers are from Making Memories Autumn Splendor line. I just love the colors! The glitter letters are also by Making Memories.

Pumpkin Carving

We had a great time carving pumpkins this year. The weather was beautiful. I married a 13 year old boy, he is snickering because his pumpkin looks like a butt :P

Details: All paper, embellishments, and rub-ons are from the Making Memories Spook Alley collection.

Christmas Sing A Long

When we moved to Austin we started a new Christmas family tradition of going to the Austin Symphony Christmas sing a long. This year I picked out the paper before we even went. This paper was made for this layout :)

Cutting the Cake

Sadly, this page does not reside in my scrapbook. Recently my sister and Noey came to visit me and we worked on a few layouts for my sister's wedding album. Since I was a major player in this layout coming together my sister said I could post it. I love the way it turned out!
Details: The circle with love in it is from their napkins at the reception. The yellow flowers were on all the place cards and are from Michaels' Bride collection. The shimmery paper is Bazzill Bling in either glass slipper or pearl necklace. I can't remember which. The patterned papers are from KI Memories' Just Married Collection. It is the perfect set for my sister. I hope she finds more of it to use!

Monterey Bay Aquarium

We visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium on our trip to California this past spring. It is one of my favorite aquariums! If you become a member there you can have a slumber party there. How cool is that!?
Details: Paper is from Scenic Route's Ashville line, Edwin Place.

New England Aquarium

While we were visiting my sister-in-law and her family we decided to make a day trip to Boston and go to the aquarium. This was my nephew Max's first time to see fish. He was pretty excited. So excited he didn't nap.
Details: The background paper is from Heidi Grace's Beyond the Sea line (Sea Bed). Sadly I think it is my last paper from that line. I loved all the pieces! The embellishments are by Jolee's.

Introducing Nora

Chris and I had the honor of making announcements for our adorable niece, Nora. They look just like her brother's (Max), but pink! The card, round sticker (both Blossom in color) and the snowflake paper are all from paper-source.

This year we celebrated three years of marriage. I can't believe it has been that long already! We went out for dinner at a roll your own sushi place in Austin, Maki and then followed that up with some delicious Amy's ice cream.
