Luminaria
There was an amazing traveling exhibit here in January. It was an inflatable luminaria. They said that every experience is different depending on light and time of day. It was so relaxing and peaceful. We would have stayed all day if they let us!
Details: Papers are ash & charcoal by American Crafts. Letters are the Amy Tangerine stitched Thickers that I love! I wish they would come out with them in more colors.

October daily
Last year a couple of my friends forced convinced me to do December Daily. While I did enjoy it, I much prefer to stare at my fall/halloween paper for 31 days on end. So this year I am doing October Daily (and yes I will be doing December Daily this year too).
I plan on filling in this cover page as we do fun fall things.
Paper is from the Haunted collection by My Mind's Eye.
Kite Festival
2012's Zilker Kite Festival. Beautiful, not quite windy enough, March day.
Details: Paper is Fly a Kite "Soar" from the Lime Twist collection by My Mind's Eye. Letters are Thickers.

Kayaking with the family
For my dad's birthday we gifted him with a kayaking trip on the lake. It was a new experience for my mom, dad, sister, and brother in-law. I think that everyone had fun.

4th of July
This year we didn't have a burn ban, so the city had fireworks! We took my sister and brother in-law to the park to watch the fireworks. I got a few good pictures of the show.
Details: All paper and the firework embellishment are from the Red White & Blue collection by We R Memory Keepers. Sticker letters are by Making Memories.

Ladybug, Ladybug, fly away
This spring we released 2,000 ladybugs into our garden. The next morning I went out to see if any had stuck around. There were tons that we could see.
Details: Truffle colored, stitched letters, are by Amy Tangerine. If you don't own them, you should! Papers and frame are from the On the Bright Side collection by My Mind's Eye. "Plant Kindness & Gather Love" is by Authentique.

Magic Carpet Golf
Last year, during our anniversary trip to Galveston, we played a round of miniature golf. You can see from the two pictures of us that we got very burnt while waiting for the slow pokes ahead of us to play.
Details: Orange paper and green strip are Salmon Cove from the American Crafts Campy Trails line. I'll have to look and see if I still have the paper strip from the dot paper...
