Glass Blowing

Since this year was our first year in our new home and the first year with a full size Christmas tree, we needed a bunch of ornaments. Craig and Lacy treated us to a glass blowing ornament class. We had fun, but it was a pretty steep learning curve.

Fresh picked - Winter Garden

I love this layout. I had several pictures (many didn't make the cut) that I wanted to use along with cute garden paper from my friend Noey. I saw this beautiful layout on Pinterest and found a sketch that would work with my photos. Inspiration struck and I made this beauty :)

Details: Blue paper is Caspia from SEI's Oasis line. Leaf paper is Early Bird: Brunch by Cosmo Cricket. Veggie paper is Farmers Market - Berkeley by My Little Shoe Box. Glitter letters are by Making Memories. Gray letters are the Amy Tangerine Thickers by American Crafts. I made the garden markers by tracing a garden marker and cutting them by hand.

Chihuly in Tampa

Last November we visited the Morean Arts Center in Tampa, FL to see the only permanent Chihuly gallery. Sadly, they wouldn't let you take pictures. They had some amazing chandeliers, sea horses, and spheres. You should really check it out. I even purchased my own tiny Chihuly. We then went across the street to soak up the park and bay.

Details: Paper is Stillness from SEI's Moonrise collection. Letters are by Making Memories.

Sequoia

This is another layout from our trip in April 2009. I had a whole bunch of pictures that didn't really belong on other layouts, so this is that layout. I also had a post card and brochure I wanted to incorporate. So again, this layout was simple.
Details: Paper is Ticket to Ride from Little Yellow Bicycle's Traveler collection. I believe that the ribbon is also from that line.
