Sunken Gardens

During our trip to Tampa, FL last November for a friend's wedding, we visited the beautiful Sunken Gardens.

Halloween Party

I had a few hours to scrap with my good friend Noey while she was in town the other day. I got two layouts done. This is the first that I finished. Our Halloween party this year was a costume party. We had lots of great food and everyone had fun dressing up.

Details: Patterned is toil and trouble by The Girls Paperie. Orange paper is Candle by Bazzill Basics. All brads and paper embellishments are from My Mind's Eye's Blackbird line.

Home for the Holidays

Finally finished up the last of my layouts from Christmas 2009. I think the cooler weather and the new Christmas lines coming out made me want to sit down and do this layout. Every year my sister and I get dressed in clothes we got for Christmas and take pictures in front of the tree. It is a fun tradition (until you can no longer see due to all the flash spots in your eyes).

Details: Red paper is Tis the Season by Bo Bunny.Stripe paper is My Wooly Scarf from SEI's Winter Song line. Title sticker and word stickers are from October Afternoon's Very Merry line. Trees and deer are Sparkling Frost accents from SEI's Winter Song. Sparkle ribbon is from Making Memories' Noel line.

Mayfield Park

We spent an afternoon walking around the Mayfield trails. On this particular day the peacocks were quite active and the lilys were in bloom. And then the next time I was shopping for paper they had this beautiful peacock print. It was meant to be :)

Details: Purple paper (which is a much nicer color in person) is Plum Pudding by Bazzill Basics. Green paper is Intense Kiwi by Bazzill Basics. Peacock paper is Feathers from the Peacock Lane line by Bo Bunny. Title was cut out using the Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to our favorite pumpkin place again this year in Marble Falls. The pumpkin ice cream was the best it has ever been this year. The place was packed though, I guess I should stop recommending that place to people. Then there wouldn't be such a crowd ;)
Details: Background paper is from the Spook Alley collection by Making Memories. The green pattern paper is by Bo Bunny. Title embellishment is by Jollee's. The drippy strip was made using the Martha Stewart "drippy goo" punch.

Mrs. P

These are photos from my trash the dress session with Life in Motion Photography. I had forgotten how much I loved my dress until I put it back on again. I love these photos of me...I never love photos of me. :)

Details: The paper and ribbons are from SEI's Poppy line. The title was written using American Crafts' Thickers (sorry for smudging out my name, can't have you all knowing everything ;))
The third and fifth photos were taken by the lovely MC!

Michelle's Shower

I hosted my sister's bridal shower. The theme was pink and green with umbrellas. With some nice table cloths and lots of crepe paper we made Fellowship Hall look pretty nice! Mom and I made a towel cake out of two sets of towels. I also made a banner using my Cricut. The umbrellas had fruit on them to stick into the punch glasses. We played Bingo and "How well do you know Michelle". My BFF Stephanie won the set of stationery posted below.
Details: All patterned paper is by K & Company. The grey paper is Elephant by Bazzill. The thank you cards are from Wedding Paper Divas.

King Tut

Ever since I was little I have wanted to go to Egypt and see all things ancient Egypt. My favorite Egyptian pharaoh is none other than King Tutankhamen. I was beyond excited that there was a King Tut exhibit coming to Dallas. We had to go! It was so cool to see a lot of the artifacts you see in books up close. The detail on some of the pieces is amazing.
Details: The patterned black paper is from SEI's Charlamagne line. The titles were cut out using the Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge. The Egyptian embellishments are by Jolee's.
