The Lumineers

We saw The Lumineers at ACL this past year. I first heard them on KUT and fell in love with them. when I heard they were coming to Austin for a show, I snatched up tickets. We had a great time.

Faerie Houses

Zilker Botanical Gardens hosted a faerie house exhibit this year. It was neat to see all of the different types of houses people had made. Kind of makes me want to make one for my yard! When I saw this fairy paper a few weeks later, I knew it was perfect for the layout.

The last of the photos from my sister's trip to visit in February 2011. We enjoyed the sunshine and warm weather at Hamilton Pool.

30 days of Thanks

This past November we both participated in 30 days of thanks. I have been wanting to do a tone on tone layout for awhile. It was fun to do.

Thanksgiving

The first Thanksgiving that we have hosted at our house. I made nine different sides because everyone had their own favorites they requested.

Details: Blue paper and leaf paper is Turkey Tracks from Bella Blvd's Thankful line. All other papers and embellishments are also from the Thankful line.

So Long 2012

This year we celebrated New Year's Eve at home. We played games, watched the countdown, and ate delicious food.

Details: Black frame was handed out at Archiver's New Year's scrap. Dot paper is from Cosmo Cricket's Upcycle line.

Yarn Wreath

I was inspired by this pin on Pinterest. After clicking through the link and finding out that a 16" wreath would be over $80 after tax, I decided to make one myself. I already had the dark blue yarn and the orange fabric flowers. I just purchased the form and the light blue yarn. After Michaels coupons ~$8. I whipped this up in about two hours while watching the Oscars. I think it will look lovely on my front door!

Destin

On our way back home we stopped in Destin again, this time we stayed the night there at the beautiful Henderson Inn. What a gorgeous beach!
