Carving Pumpkins

Carving pumkins is something I look forward to all year.

Details: Background paper is Bazzill carstock in Peacock. The Halloween paper is by Heidi Grace. The black swirls were cut out using the Stretch your Imagination cricut cartridge. The title and embellishments are all Jolee's.

Pedernales Falls in the Autumn

I love the paper used in this layout. I have had it for awhile just waiting for the perfect fall layout. I also love the progression at the bottom of a stone being skipped across the river.

Details: "Skipping stones" was cut out using the Opposites Attract Cricut cartridge. The leaves and title are a Jolee's embellishment.

Pumpkin Patch

This is another favorite layout. I love Halloween and I love hunting for the best pumpkin to carve. Not to mention that we always have some of their delicious homemade ice cream. yum!

Details: The green paper is Bazzill cardstock in Peacock. The brads are from Targets $1 aisle. The tree was cut out using the Stretch your Imagination cricut cartridge. "Sweet Berry Farm" was cut out using the Opposites Attract Cricut cartridge. No idea what the name is of the tree paper :)

Treehouses

We visited the San Antonio Botanical Gardens for the first time this summer. We wanted to check out the treehouse exhibit that they had installed at the time. It is a beautiful place. I especially love the Japanese garden. I hope that my backyard looks like that someday.



Details: The paper and flowers are all from S.E.I.'s Poppy line.

Dino Land

We went to see a traveling dinosaur exhibit this fall. All of the dinosaurs looked so life-like. I had fun fitting in all the different dinos. I have no idea what paper was used :P

The Beach

This layout is super special. I was challenged to use a page map. I had never used a page sketch and my layouts had kind of gotten in a rut. I struggled to embrace this layout. After all was said and done though I love this layout.

Details: The background paper is fom Heidi Grace's Beyond the Sea line. The words "Padre Island" were cut out using the Stamped cricut cartridge.

2nd Anniversary

This is the first layout that I did that only has one photo. It is really hard to do a layout with one photo! I also made a pocket with the card that C gave me so that you can pull on the tab and see what he wrote on the inside of the card.

Details: All of the papers are from S.E.I.'s Black Orchid line. The word fondue was cut using the cuttin' up cricut cartridge. Happy Anniversary was cut out using the Storybook cricut cartridge.

Kayaking with SMD

This is my very first layout using the Cricut! The letters were cut using the teardrop cartridge. The background paper is Heidi Grace's Shimmer foiled fish from her Beyond the Sea line.

My nephew

This is another one from the archives. I took a couple hundred photos of my nephew over the three day weekend that T and M were visiting. I had several favorites, but I needed a way to fit them all onto the page. It is definitely another favorite layout. No idea what papers were used :P

Connecticut

This is the first layout I did with a bunch of little photos. It is still one of my favorite layouts. Little pictures let you cram in lots of photos without overwhelming the page. I have no idea what papers were used. :P

Save the Dates

My sister is getting married this August. Not only was I her engagement photographer, but I am also making her save the date cards. I have had fun designing them. Now I have to do all of the assembly.

The green is Bazzill cardstock in Parakeet, the yellow is Bazzill cardstock in Sunshine. The heart design was cut out on the Cricut using the Storybook cartridge. The labels are from paper source.

A new Blog!

Like I don't have enough blogs as it is, I am creating one to share all of my paper creations. Mainly it will be scrapbooking, but there will be cards and invitations along the way. :)
