Date Night

This date night actually happened over a year ago! These photos have been laying around all this time. I take them out and mess with them, but never really liked anything I came up with. I got stuck on paper that I could never find to go with it. Then in my package exchange with Noey, she sent me this lovely paper. The layout just came together after that. Finally finished! I may get caught up to date soon :)

Details: Background paper is by Hambly Studios. It is a hand silk-screened paper. This design is called Stylish Squares. The paper is actually translucent and really cool in texture. The journaling block is by Jillibean Soup, journaling sprouts in orange. Title was cut out using the Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge.

Ice cream treat

I made this coupon to go inside of my dad's Father's day card. He was in town visiting and loves Amy's ice cream. It was a very delicious treat!
Details: I cut out the ice cream cone using the Stretch your Imagination Cricut cartridge. The pattern papers are by K & Company. They are Citronella Pinwheels and I believe the pink one is exclusive to Archiver's since I can't find it online . The green paper is Bazzill in Parakeet. The cherry is coated in red Stickles.

Scrap Space

My wonderful husband made me a new scrap table. The table was made specifically for me. It is 26 inches high, which means I can sit with my feet comfortably on the floor and not strain my back! I absolutely love this space. It is so great to have everything in reach.

This weekend we took the time to put up the wall quotes.

"It's never too late to be what you might have been" (George Elliot) was cut out on vinyl using the Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge.

"as you Wish" was cut out using SCAL. I used the font Anglican Text. The "do what you Love" was also cut out using SCAL. The font I used for it is called Hogwarts Wizard.

The key to my vinyl letter success? Press and Seal wrap!! I could only find ProvoCraft's transfer tape at Michaels, and well you can't use a coupon on it there. So I didn't buy it. As I am struggling with the "W" in wish, my husband comes up with the most genius idea, Press'n seal. It works like a charm.

Lingerie shower

I made this cute card for my sister's lingerie shower gift. I found this great cut file here and used SCAL to cut it. I also made the cards below for her to use as thanks yous. They were so simple yet so cute!

Shower Details

I thought I would post some details from the shower that aren't necessarily paper crafts. I know lots of people looking for shower inspiration. I hope these detail photos and descriptions help.

We used pink and green crepe paper to make the church's fellowship hall more festive. We were really limited on what we could use to decorate, but this really made it nice.

The advice cards are on the far right. I cut 12x12 sheets of paper into 4x6 rectangles. I then cut out 3x5 rectangles out of solid pink and solid green papers. I used my corner rounder to round the corners of the solid sheets and then adhered them to the patterned paper. This size is perfect for sliding into albums or scrapping with!

Also pictured are the Bingo cards I made. Super easy. If you want the file to make your own, leave me a comment. :)

I also had every guest preaddress an envelope to their selves. This served two purposes. One, it made it super easy for Michelle to mail out her Thank yous. Two, I used the envelopes to draw names at the end to see who would take home the center pieces.

Pink & green M&Ms helped to pull the color scheme to the food table. Matching napkins and plates helped to add a color pop at the tables.

I made really simple center pieces. I bought small succulents in small pots, wrapped pink ribbon around each pot, added an umbrella, and whallah - centerpiece!

We put blueberries and raspberries on the umbrellas and added them to each punch glass. It is a great refreshing punch. Find the recipe here.

Shower Banner

This is the banner I made for my sister's bridal shower. I cut 5 inch out of Bazzill Lime Crush using my Cricut. I then cut out the "Bridal" & "Shower" with The Paper Company's Peppermint paper using my Tear Drop Cricut cartridge. The wedding cakes were cut out from the Cuttin' Up Cricut cartridge. I designed the umbrellas using Inkscape then cut them out on my Cricut using Sure Cuts A Lot.

Shower Card

I made this card to attach to my sister's towel cake at her bridal shower. The umbrella is from Autumn Leaves' Wellies and Brellas line. The orange paper is Rio de Janeiro by Bazzill. The droplets are from Fiskars.

Monterey Bay Beach

During our vacation to California, we spent a few days at the beach. The water is cold! We had tons of fun and made lots of wonderful memories.
Details: Background paper is from SEI's En Route line. Gray paper is Elephant my Bazzill. The title was cut using the Cricut cartridge Opposites Attract. The sea stars and shells are Jollee's embellishments.

Michelle's Shower

I hosted my sister's bridal shower. The theme was pink and green with umbrellas. With some nice table cloths and lots of crepe paper we made Fellowship Hall look pretty nice! Mom and I made a towel cake out of two sets of towels. I also made a banner using my Cricut. The umbrellas had fruit on them to stick into the punch glasses. We played Bingo and "How well do you know Michelle". My BFF Stephanie won the set of stationery posted below.
Details: All patterned paper is by K & Company. The grey paper is Elephant by Bazzill. The thank you cards are from Wedding Paper Divas.

Bachelorette Party

Michelle's bachelorette party was great fun. We had fondue. listened to some jazz, watched a movie, did our nails, and wore face masks. I hope she had tons of fun.

The yellow paper is Sunshine by Bazzill. The star paper is from Making Memories' Animal Cracker line. The tickets are by Jenny Bowlin. The word Party is from Making Memories sticker letters. The green paper is Parakeet by Bazzill.

Bachelorette Invite

I scrapped the invite to my sister's bachelorette party and the Thank You from the lingerie shower (both of which I made).
The dandelion was cut out using the Cricut cartridge Lyrical Letters. The corset was cut out using Sure Cuts A Lot. The Bachelorette invite is from Paper Source.

Shower Game Prize

I made this generic set of letters to give the person at the shower who wins the "Who knows Michelle Best?" quiz. There are some tough questions (she wasn't even sure of some of the answers). Best of luck to all those participating. It is a fun prize to win :)
